Octo Pop! privacy policy
Octo Pop! keeps no accounts and runs no server of its own. Your progress lives on your device and nowhere else. The one thing that leaves the game is an advertising request, and only when you choose to watch a video.
The short version
The game has no accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, e-mail address, telephone number or location.
Your progress is stored only on your own device. We do not upload it anywhere and we cannot see it.
We operate no server for the game, and it sends us no data of any kind.
The game shows rewarded video advertisements from Google AdMob, and those ads may use device identifiers. This is the only third party that receives anything.
Who this covers
This policy applies to the iOS and Android versions of Octo Pop!, published by Kaya Can Kaya (Team Eks Games), İzmir, Türkiye. The website you are reading it on has a policy of its own.
Information stored on your device
The game saves your progress locally using the operating system's own storage — NSUserDefaults on iOS, SharedPreferences on Android. This covers your level progress, stars, coins, lives, boosters, season pass tier, daily spin timer and your sound, music, vibration and language settings.
This data never leaves your device. It is removed when you delete the game. Because it is not backed up to us, uninstalling means the progress is gone.
Advertising
The game shows rewarded video ads — videos you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game reward. There are no banner ads and no ads that interrupt play.
These ads are served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, and to limit how often the same ad is shown, AdMob may collect information such as a device advertising identifier, coarse device and network information, and ad interaction events. We do not receive this information and we do not combine it with anything else.
Google's handling of this data is described in “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services”, at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices about advertising
On iOS, the game does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, so it cannot reach your advertising identifier for cross-app tracking.
On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings, Privacy, Ads.
Where the law requires it — in the EU and the UK, for example — you are asked for advertising consent before any personalised ad is shown, and you can change that choice later.
Purchases
The game offers three optional in-app purchases. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your card details, your billing address or any part of your payment information. We receive only the store's confirmation that a purchase completed, so the game can deliver the item.
Analytics and crash reporting
The game contains no analytics and no crash-reporting service. If that changes, this page is updated before the change is released, and both store listings will say so.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from them. It has no chat, no user-generated content and no way to contact other players.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete. To remove everything the game has stored, delete the app from your device. For questions about the advertising identifier, contact Google through the link above.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
