Tentilo privacy policy
Tentilo is a single-player puzzle game with an optional account. You can play without signing in. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, your progress is backed up and shown under your name on the weekly leaderboard. This page explains exactly what leaves your device, why, and how to delete it.
The short version
Signing in is optional. Without it, your progress stays on your device.
Every player gets an anonymous identifier and a random guest code (such as M123456789012N) so the weekly leaderboard can show a row for them.
If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, e-mail address and an account identifier, and we keep a cloud copy of your game progress.
The game shows optional rewarded video ads from Google AdMob and uses Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.
You can delete your account and everything stored with it from inside the game: Settings → Account → Delete my account.
There is no chat and no way to send messages to other players.
Who this covers
This policy applies to the iOS and Android versions of Tentilo, published by Kaya Can Kaya (Team Eks Games), İzmir, Türkiye. The website you are reading it on has a policy of its own.
Information stored on your device
The game saves your progress locally: levels, stars, coins, lives, boosters, season pass tier, daily wheel timer, wardrobe items, purchases already delivered, and your sound, music, vibration and language settings. Deleting the game removes it, unless you have signed in (see “Cloud save”).
The leaderboard
To run the live weekly leaderboard, the game signs every player in to Google Firebase with an anonymous identifier and gives them a random guest code. The leaderboard row stores that identifier, your guest code or — if you signed in — a short form of your name (for example “Ali Y.-1”), your star count, the outfit your octopus is wearing and, if you signed in, whether it was with Google or Apple. Other players can see your row. You can hide it at any time from Settings → Account.
Optional account (Sign in with Google or Apple)
If you choose to sign in, Firebase Authentication receives from Google or Apple your name, your e-mail address and an account identifier. If you use Apple's “Hide My Email”, we only receive Apple's relay address. We use these only to keep your account, to show your short name on the leaderboard and to restore your progress on another device. We never use them for advertising and we never send you marketing e-mail.
Cloud save
For signed-in players the game keeps a copy of the save described above in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), so that progress, coins and wardrobe items follow you to another device and are never lost when you reinstall. The copy records which items you have bought so that they are restored and never charged twice. Guests have no cloud copy.
Advertising
The game shows rewarded video ads — videos you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game reward. There are no banner ads and no ads that interrupt play. These ads are served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and network information and ad interaction events. We do not receive this information and we do not combine it with your account. Google's handling of this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
On iOS the game does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, so it cannot use your advertising identifier for cross-app tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings → Privacy → Ads. Where the law requires it — in the EU and the UK, for example — you are asked for advertising consent before any personalised ad is shown.
Purchases
The game offers optional in-app purchases: a starter pack, coins, a season pass, the Royal Outfit and premium wardrobe items. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your card details or billing address. We receive only the store's confirmation that a purchase completed, so the game can deliver the item.
Analytics and crash reporting
The game uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Analytics records which levels are started and finished, with the score and stars earned. Crashlytics records a report when the game crashes: the stack trace, device model, operating system version and app version. Neither is linked to your account and neither is used for advertising. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Where the data is processed
Firebase and AdMob are services of Google LLC. Your data may be processed on Google's servers outside Türkiye, under Google's privacy policy and data processing terms.
Deleting your account and your data
In the game: Settings → Account → Delete my account → Yes, delete. This removes your leaderboard row, your reserved name and guest code, your cloud save and your Firebase account, and for Apple accounts revokes the game's access to your Apple ID. The progress on the device you used stays there as a guest's, and is removed when you delete the game.
By e-mail: write to info@eksgames.com from any device and we will delete your account and everything stored with it within 30 days.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. It has no chat and no way to contact other players.
Your rights
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), the GDPR and similar laws you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing. Write to info@eksgames.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
